We woke up to a very cloudy morning, such a big difference compared to the sunny and warm days we have enjoyed lately. Actually the weather felt more like summer than spring. Due to these high temperatures we saw lots of progress in the garden. Plants are growing extremely well. Our lovely blush noisette rose already starts budding and I expect to see flowers by the end of this month. Already looking forward to enjoying the fragrance and beauty of this wonderful rose.
Last week I sowed some lupine seeds in a small container. There is a photo of me holding the container included in this post. I think they look fantastic, even as seedlings! Since we can’t show you lots of photos of flowers yet, this time I would like to share some flower paintings I made a few years ago. I haven’t spent much time in my atelier during these last few weeks. The garden required quite some time and the weather was simply too beautiful to stay inside. New ideas are already here, so probably next week I will pick up the brushes again!
