Last week I shared some images from my visit to Stockholm, where A and I stayed for a couple of days. After that we set off to Gothenburg, which is on the west coast of Sweden.
Gothenburg is a lovely canal city and has a slightly more mellow feel than Stockholm. One really gorgeous area is the Haga district, which has wonderful 19th century wooden houses and many great shops.
To the south of the city the wonderful Natural History Museum. Just behind it, a large park stretches out. Once you climb a set of stairs past a waterfall you reach a small free animal park, where you can see lots of different deer, sheep, goats and other country animals.
Gothenburg really is a wonderful city, and I look forward returning at some point again!
Warmest wishes,
Jacob
