I’m convinced now: the garden has enchanted me. When I’m in the garden, I change – I can sense it in my heart and soul. And what I see is beauty in simplicity. My plants are ‘plain’, which I really like. A forget-me-not that spreads into a flower pot with geraniums and campanula: it’s these simple pleasures that give me joy.
In spring, the garden starts with a canvas of green, with here and there a dash of white and blue flowers, with a few delicate pinks from an early flowering geranium. And then in summer there is a sudden burst of roses, in shades of pale pinks and soft yellows. Weather permitting, I spend as much time in the garden as possible. She nurtures, comforts, and enchants me. In short: I love my garden!
